I totally understand what you ...More power to you! I totally understand what you mean about fulfilling the needs of your child and not bowing to what other moms or society in general tells you. No one knows your child like you do. My child is only 7 mos but has started getting teeth and all the moms I know are saying "oh, it's time to start weening!" I disagree. My own mother nursed all of us kids till we were 2 and we turned out great. It becomes more private and less about nutrition and we just don't see it often.
